Jamie Fitness (jamiefitness.au, "we", "us") provides personal training services in Australia and the JF Coach mobile app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it is handled. It applies to our website, our client apps (including JF Coach), and our services.
What we collect
- Account and contact details: your name, email address, and phone number, so we can run your training program and communicate with you.
- Training data: workouts, appointments, habits, goals, progress photos you choose to add, measurements, and check-ins, so your trainer can coach you.
- Nutrition data: meals and calories you log in the app or through connected services such as MyFitnessPal.
- Health and fitness data you choose to share: if you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, we read steps, workouts, heart rate, calories, and distance. We only read this data with your explicit permission, we never write to your device's health store, and you can revoke access at any time in your phone's settings.
- Messages: conversations between you and your trainer inside the app.
How we use it
- To deliver coaching: your trainer sees your training, nutrition, and progress so they can guide you.
- To personalise the app: your health score, reminders, and coaching messages are based on your own data.
- To operate the business: scheduling, billing, and support.
We never sell your data. Health and fitness data is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never shared with third parties except the service providers that run our systems (for example our hosting and the Trainerize training platform), who are bound to use it only to provide the service.
Where it lives and how long
Your data is stored on secured servers we control and within the Trainerize platform that powers your training account. We keep it while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and business obligations, after which it is deleted.
Your choices
- Disconnect Apple Health or Health Connect at any time in your phone settings; syncing stops immediately.
- Ask us to correct or delete your personal information by contacting us below.
- Opt out of notifications in the app or your phone settings.
